Getting to know the RFQ Dashboard:

The RFQ Dashboard displays a list of all suppliers you selected on the Supplier Selection tab. From here you will be able to see a live view of the progress of your pricing. You can tell which suppliers have been sent the RFQ, which ones have accessed it, and what their current quote progress is. You can also see what your total pricing progress is as well, independent of whether or not the RFQ has been sent.

How to use the RFQ Dashboard:

  1. Select the suppliers you want to send the RFQ to by checking off their name, or click the Select All button
  2. Click the Send RFQ button to email all contacts for each selected supplier
  3. Edit the custom message box before sending the RFQ

Tips and Tricks:

  • Close the RFQ once you get pricing back from the suppliers. This will prevent them from making continued changes while you are trying to award pricing and run reports
  • Verify that you don't need to change any RFQ settings before you send out the RFQ. This will cut down on any confusion over changing requirements on a live RFQ.
  • Only use the Send Message feature when you know the RFQ has already been received. The Send Message function only emails your custom message and does not include registration links, or RFQ activation in SupplyWin
  • You can modify or view the Supplier Due Date from the RFQ Dashboard (upper right corner) or from the Project page.
  • If you set a filter on the Pricing Table it will still be held while you go to the dashboard. Even if you click select all and send, only the parts you filtered for will be sent. When you go back to the pricing table your filter will be cleared again.
